Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identity number that can be obtained voluntarily by the citizens of India and resident foreign nationals who have spent over 182 days in twelve months immediately preceding the date of application for enrolment, based on their biometric and demographic data.

The data is collected by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), a statutory authority established in January 2009 by the Government of India, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, following the provisions of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and other Subsidies, benefits and services) Act, 2016.

But recently people were complaining about [k-100] error comes when trying to link aadhar to Digilocker on UIDAI site where people creat or update their informartion of Aadhar card. Fix: Authentication failed [k-100] error comes when trying to link aadhar to Digilocker

1. Data didn’t match

The main cause of the issue is when attributes of demographic data did not match. It means that the data you entered is mismatching to already vailable data.

The provided Personal Identity information didn’t match, So to solve this you can recheck the information and data you have entered. Try to update the information and data again this issue will be resolved.

2. Clear Cookies if you are using a Browser

Cookies are small blocks of data created by a web server while a user is browsing a website and placed on the user’s computer.

Clearing cookies on the browser clear all browsing data related to a specific site. After clearing cookies of UIDAI site, you will have to log in again to Treehouse so make sure you know your login credentials.

Steps to clear the cookies of the Treehouse app:

Chrome: Select Settings > Site Settings > Cookies and site data > See All Cookies and Site Data > Find the site and click trash.

Safari: Go to Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data. Choose the website and select Remove.

3. Logout and Login Again

Sometimes when you llogin some options fail to work properly so, try to Logout of your aacount and then again login to your account it may help you to solve the issue.

4. Try To update documents on you Digilocker

Go to your Digilocker account and try to update your documetns their and refresh once you update them. This worked for some of my friends.

5. conatct UIDAI
