Recently while my friend asked to open his Phonepe account and therefore link it with the bank account so while linking a bank account it was constantly showing an error – “This UPI ID (VPA) is not linked to any bank account. Please try after the receiver links a bank account to this ID”
Then I searched online for how to find VPA in Phonepe and GPay, and then I searched more about UPI and Bank accounts, but at that time I didn’t find any solution for this issue.
At this point, I asked my friend, “Have you linked your phone number and Bank account?” he said, “I already did it a month ago!”.
After one hour’s struggle, I left it.
Then we decided to call Phonepe to ask the solution on this UPI id (VPA) is not linked to any bank account Phonepe error. They were speaking in Hindi But they also didn’t know the solution to this error.
The next day my friend went to the bank and showed the screenshot of the errors and asked how to Solve This UPI ID (VPA) Is Not Linked To Any Bank Account he was facing. But some employee wasn’t familiar with this error. At last, a senior employee of the bank came and He knew what was wrong, what was the solution.
Actually, my friend’s Bank account was a student account and it was having 0 Rs. So my friend credited that account with 500 Rs. and converted the account type to a General account. The very next day my friend successfully connected Phonepe to his Bank account easily.
