1. Display

Display Size-

Nowadays displays less than 5.8 inches are outdated and using them may feel very small and outdated. Also, you may find 6.8-inch screen phones which may be very big in your palm so don’t buy a very big-screen phone rather don’t buy a very small screen phone.

Well, 6.0-6.5 inch phones fit most people’s palms so we recommend buying a phone having a screen in that range, whereas some people like a small screen so they can go with a 5.5-6 inch phone.

Display type-
Also, panel type matters very much where Super AMOLED displays are best and IPS displays are also good. In Apple devices, there are retina displays they are also very good.

Don’t buy the phone with a display having LCD, and TFT displays, they will not give the correct colour saturation and you may not be able to use those phones in Sunlight though. LCD and TFT displays are not that bad at all, they are usable in day to day life but overall performance is quite low compared to other displays.

Display resolution-

The picture we see on displays is actually a cluster of pixels which work together to give us a working display, where displays with HD resolution have 1280×720 pixels which are quite enough for day to day use, and having less pixel is its own plus point that it consumes less power that’s why smartphone having HD display have longer battery life.

On the other hand, displays with resolution 1920×1080 and 2220×1080 are commonly known as FHD and FHD+ displays respectively, which are quite accurate, and if you are a multimedia lover you should consider FHD and FHD+ display.

2. Camera
For checking the camera quality, we recommend you go on YouTube and search for “Your phone + Camera review” and see about 4-5 videos and listen to what they are saying about the camera if most of them are saying the camera is good you can trust them.

In-camera specifications don’t look at the MP number. Sometimes 12MP camera can give you better pictures than a 64MP camera. So don’t look at the MP number see the picture quality they are actually giving and go with a Phone which actually giving you the best quality photos.

If you are a person who loves taking photos all time and want the best camera phone in your budget then you must consider the sensor which is used in the camera of the smartphone.

Usually, Sony and Samsung camera sensors work quite well so if one brand is giving you Sony/Samsung camera sensor in your budget go for that you will not disappointed with the camera picture quality at all.

3. Processor

To find the best and smooth operating device first thing you should consider is Processor. As it is the main hub of performing all tasks.

The most common processors in Smartphones are Qualcomm Snapdragon, MediaTech, Apple processors.

Where the number of phones with Qualcomm Snapdragon processors is more compared to others as they are one of the best and affordable processors.

Whereas you may see MediaTech crafted Smartphones in low price range as they are not as efficient and powerful as others but they give a decent performance and are super affordable too.

Apple devices are crafted with their own processors which are unbeatable in balanced performance. You can surely consider buying Apple brand phones but they are slightly higher priced.

If you are looking for a Smartphone to play games like PUBG Mobile go with processors having Antutu score more than 1,60,000.

Old processors-

Don’t buy the device with old professors. Old processors can’t perform well at present, as applications nowadays are heavier for old processors so don’t buy the phones with old processors.

You can check how old is your Smartphone processors on Google. We advise you to don’t buy a phone having processors age older than 2 years or elder.

4. Ram type

There are LPDDR4, LPDDR4X, and LPDDR5.

LPDDR4 and LPDDR4X are quite similar and LPDDR4X is slightly better than LPDDR4 so if possible consider going for LPDDR4X in your budget.

LPDDR5 is the latest and fastest Ram type you can find in devices so if you are getting LPDDR5 on your phone it will give far better RAM management.

5. Storage type

As far as storage types concerned people don’t give importance to them. Actually, whenever any task is performed it is commanded by our operating system, and the operating system is actually stored in our Storage thus faster storage of your phone will result in faster overall performance. So if you are looking for an overall fast device you should consider buying a fast storage phone.

As far as storage types are considered UFS 3.0 and UFS 3.1 are the latest and fastest storage types, so if you have a good budget to buy a smartphone with UFS 3.0 go with that phone it will not disappoint you at all.

Whereas UFS 2.1 phones are slightly better than UFS 2.0 so if possible prefer buying UFS 2.1 in your budget.

eMMC storage type is the oldest and slowest storage type so we recommend avoiding smartphones having eMMC storage as they will not perform as better as the latest storage type.

For more information on storage types and their speed go to Android Central.

6. Battery

Prefer buying 3700 mAh or more Lithium-ion battery smartphones which will be sufficient for daily usage.

Battery capacity below 3700 mAh will not last for a day, so prefer buying more mAh battery.

7. Charger

Nowadays most smartphones come with (5V×2A)10W chargers inbox which is very common. As far as 2020 is considered in the market there are many phones you may see coming with a fast charger in the box so prefer buying those smartphones.

Many people think charging the smartphone with a higher wattage charger will reduce battery life, actually, it’s not that true fast charging technology is optimized for a smartphone it will not affect the battery life of the smartphone.

8. Other criteria

Bezels-

Don’t buy the phones which having big/large bezels as a phone with large bezels will not look good at all it will look outdated in 2020.

Software-

Don’t buy a phone which has an old Android version with an old Security Patch. Having old software will not support many apps whereas old security patches will have weak security, thus try to buy a smartphone with the latest Software and recent security patch.

Type C port-

In recent time type c port has been invented which have multiple capabilities with fast charging support so try buying the smartphone having a type C port.

Headphone jack-

If you want a headphone jack on your phone it’s good as it becomes very problematic if no headphone jack is there especially if you are a game lover then the smartphone you are going to buy must have a headphone jack in it.

Network-

Presently 4G network is the widely available and fastest network in the world thus don’t consider the smartphone which doesn’t support the 4G network.

Any other issue-
